A rhymed poem is a work of poetry that contains rhyming vowel sounds at particular moments. (Common vowel sounds are also known as “assonance”—not to be confused with “consonance” which refers to common consonant sounds.)
But I Guess He's Now Happy With Another
Butterflies in my stomach
Oh how I miss that feeling
I guess it's just luck
But now I am healing
From the pain
That yesterday has caused me
The day he left me, it rain
Since that day we let each other be
We said our goodbyes
And we let go of each other
Every time I think of him my heart dies
But I guess he's now happy with another.
When I was a kid
I remember all the things that I did
When I was a kid
I used to watch cartoons
And play with my siblings in the afternoons
When I was a kid I was so silly
I used to play dolls with Lily
I always turn my brother into a girl
I will do his makeup and his hair curl
Those childhood memories make me want to go back
If only the past can be hack
I'll try to go there again
And just enjoy the days when I was just ten.
Late Nights
Why am I always crying at night
Wishing my problems will fly away like a kite
I never thought myself to be this physically and mentally bad
Because it really made my life a complete mess and sad
