Free verse is an open form of poetry, which in its modern form arose through the French vers libre form. It does not use consistent meter patterns, rhyme, or any musical pattern. It thus tends to follow the rhythm of natural speech.
Disguise
Changes are hard
But it can be easy
Just look at the stars
And later on you won't worry
Being sad is hard
But it can be easy
Don't think about your past
And move on from your tragedies
Smiling is hard
But it can be easy
Just don't fake it and just smile, widely
Let them know that your not happy
Falling in love is hard
But it can be easy
If you think positively and not be afraid to take risks
Even if they reject you, you can be happy
Crying silently is hard
But it can be easy
Just remember all the good times
And all your tears will fade away, swifly
Most of the things are hard to overcome
We can never maintain our disguise
Just show your true colors
And don't think about the opinion of other guys.
Ghost
I wish I can see a ghost
I wish I can talk to one of them
I wish I can befriend them
Can I?
Most of my friends said they've seen a ghost
Maybe they are just bluffing
They never stop teasing me
Unless I began crying
Is it fun to talk to the ghosts?
I bet it's fun
But people say they are scary
But I won't believe them because I've never seen one, however
Some people say they've seen a ghost already
Some would say they don't look pretty
They look, scary
And some would say that they will eat the parts of your body.
Growing Old
I always wonder when I will be old
When I can be bold
But despite that, I was scared
Growing old made me feel despaired
What does it feel like to be an adult?
From them, can I get consult?
Why do I feel like being an adult is better
Having a lover and getting a letter
Why does some adult want to be young again?
They want to go back to the days when they are just ten
Does being an adult is hard?
That you will just miss the days you go to the schoolyard.
My Superhero
He was with me when I was young
He was with me when I needed his help
He was with me when I needed advice on my problems
He was with me, always
When he needed help I was not there for him
When he has problems I don't give advice to him
When he was sad I was not there to comfort him
I was not there for him, but he was always there for me
He is my Dad
My Dad who is always by my side no matter what
My Dad who is strong and wise
My Dad, whom I love.
May You Be Love
Children playing happily outside their houses
Children making new friends
May their day be filled with happiness
Elders playing with the young
Elders taking care of the young
May their lives be long
People helping each other
People taking care of each other and working together
May they never grow weary of doing right
You, who is tired but still fighting
You, who are insecure but still loving yourself
May you be loved, and be blessed by God.
Another
I’ve always have another
Artist within me
I was wondering forever
When thou you’ll be mine
The artist imagine
Arts of unknown
Only shattered pieces
Of insides are grown
Then another came
It help me gain
The things thou say
I’d never imagine you’d stay
The shattered glass inside
Fade fast like dust
The unknown pieces became
Beautiful piece upraise.
Keep
There's a wall that separates me and you
Hoping it will disappear soon
Everything I promised are still in here, wishing we can still be happy again
When this wall has disappeared
And our feelings for each other are still here

Loving you forever will be my promise that I can surely can keep
Stolen

Taking it to build your broken part
But my tiny fragile heart was so broken
Itself can't find the missing piece cause it's stolen.

There's this boy and he makes me happy
I don't know when I became lonely
To have this boy by my side lately
He take all my insecurities away
Whenever he told me that I'm beautiful everyday
Are you an angel? Because that is what I think you portray.

Have memories that we can't forget
The love that we shared
And your touch on my skin I've felt
The promises that we commit
Are patiently waiting for us
But our love faded
Faster than dust.
