What is Literacy?

Literacy is the freedom to learn about the world around you,

To investigate the processes of your life and others,

To discover yourself.

Literacy is the ability to communicate,

To fight for what you believe in, 

To explore creatively. 

Life without literacy is a bike with training wheels.

A boat without wind in it’s sails.
