2023-2024 Event Descriptions
Zoom Discussions: We are shifting our social hours into discussions on various topics: District Curriculum (10/12/23), Text and Book Selection (12/4/23), and Test Preparation and Data Analysis (4/16/23). We will open with brief introductions, someone will speak on the topic, and then we will have a discussion on that topic. Come learn from other local ELA and literacy educators. All sessions will run from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST). A Zoom link will be sent to those who preregister the week of the event. Preregister here.
Conference: Our half-day conference (from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) in March 2024 will be held on the second floor of the Palumbo Academic Center at Gannon University. We will offer different sessions as well as time for attendees to connect and share. Members will need to pay a $10.00 admission fee on-site, but we will also offer coffee and continental breakfast.
