In Christchurch there are four early intervention (EI) providers. Education services can only refer to Moe.
To access other services, paediatricians need to make a referral to the Early Intervention Coordination Panel ( EICs ), where the different services will consider the needs and offer a place.
EICS provides a single point of entry to the range of early intervention services in the Christchurch area and is comprised of CCS Disability Action, The Champion Centre, Conductive Education, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health
