Beginning in the spring of 2017, I was given a budget to invite authors to the UHS Library Media Center.
Each author spoke to a wide range of students, spanning from basic skills to AP. The goal of the program was to inspire an excitement for writing and reading.
The authors were all met with interest and enthusiasm by both students and staff. Visiting authors have included: Kwame Alexander, Wil Mara, and Trinka Hakes Noble.
