  • January 2022: Li Quan joined Apple Inc. as a senior acoustic engineer.

  • May 20201: Our paper "Odd Willis coupling induced by broken time-reversal symmetry" has been published in Nature Communications.

  • July 2020: Li Quan joined MilliporeSigma, a business of Merck, KGaA, as a senior acoustic engineer. He is seeking applications of metamaterials in life science and developing acousto-fluidic devices for cell processing.

  • April 2020: Li Quan has successfully defended his Ph.D. and obtained his Ph.D. Degree.

  • March 2019: Li Quan has successfully addressed a talk "Acoustic bianisotropic impedance and hyperbolic propagation in metasurfaces" at APS March Meeting 2019, Boston, Massachusetts.

  • Nov. 2018: Our paper "Acoustic meta-atom with maximum Willis coupling" is available on arXiv.

  • Nov. 2018: Li Quan has successfully passed the Ph.D. Qualifying Exam and be admitted to doctoral candidacy.

  • Dec. 2017: Li Quan has successfully addressed two talks "Anomalous scattering effects from Bi-Anisotropic inclusions and metamaterials" and "Passive acoustic metasurfaces for high-efficiency wavefront transformations" at the 174th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, New Orleans, Louisiana.

  • Jun. 2017: Li Quan has successfully addressed one Invited talk "Non-reciprocal wave propagation in zero-index materials" and one contributed talk "Bi-anisotropy in acoustic scattering problems" at the 3rd Joint Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America and the European Acoustics Association, Boston, Massachusetts.

  • May 2017: Li Quan starts his new position as an Electro-Acoustic Intern at Knowles Corporation, Illinois, USA.

  • Sep. 2014: Li Quan starts his position as a cellphone audio engineer at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, Shanghai, P. R. China.

  • Jun. 2014: Li Quan has successfully defended his master dissertation and obtained his M.S. degree at Nanjing University.
