Simple Color Picker (the “App”) is provided by linversion (“we,” “us”). These Terms explain how you may use the App and its optional Pro subscription. If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using the App. You can use the App’s free features without buying Pro or creating an App account.
The App lets you sample colors with your camera or from images, save colors, and organize them into palettes and projects. The free version currently allows up to three custom palettes and one project. An active Pro subscription removes those creation limits, enables project export, and lets you start a Nearby sync session. A device joining a session started by another device does not need Pro.
Features may depend on your device, permissions, Android version, network, and Google Play availability. We may improve or change the App. If a material change affects paid features, we will provide notice when required by applicable law.
You keep your rights to the images, colors, names, notes, palettes, projects, and exports you create or import. You are responsible for having the right to use and share any images or other material you add to the App. The App processes your content to provide the features you choose; these Terms do not transfer ownership of your content to us.
When you export or share content, the destination you choose may handle it under its own terms and privacy policy. Please review what you are sharing before you send it.
Pro is offered as an automatically renewing monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play. The price, currency, billing period, taxes, and any introductory offer applicable to you are shown in the App and in Google Play’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe. The amount and terms shown by Google Play at checkout control your purchase. A yearly plan is charged for the yearly period, not in monthly installments. There is no free trial in the current plans.
If an introductory discount is offered, its duration and the price and billing period after it ends will be shown before purchase. Unless you cancel, Google Play will charge the applicable renewal price at the start of each new billing period. Google Play processes payments; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the App’s “Manage subscription” link or Google Play subscriptions. Cancel before your next renewal to prevent a future charge. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. In the usual case, Pro remains available until the end of the period you already paid for after cancellation. Exceptions, including an immediate cancellation or prorated refund where available, are governed by applicable law and Google Play’s options.
Refund requests are handled under applicable law and Google Play’s refund policies. These Terms do not take away any mandatory consumer rights. To restore a purchase, use the Google Play account that made it and choose “Restore purchases” in the App. A pending payment does not activate Pro until the purchase is completed.
If Pro expires, your existing saved colors, palettes, projects, and source photos are not deleted because of the expiry. You can continue to view and perform basic edits on existing work. Creating items beyond the free limits, exporting projects, or starting a new Nearby sync session requires active Pro access.
Nearby sync transfers the library items you select, including associated source photos where available, directly between compatible devices on a network that allows them to communicate. Both devices must confirm the connection and review the changes. Nearby sync is not a cloud backup service operated by us, and it requires both devices to remain available during the session. You are responsible for choosing the device and content you sync. See our Privacy Policy for details about local storage and Android system backup.
Colors sampled from a camera or image may vary with lighting, camera hardware, display calibration, image processing, and the source file. The App is a creative and organizational tool, not a calibrated measuring instrument. Do not rely on its color readings for safety-critical, medical, industrial, or other uses requiring certified accuracy.
We work to keep the App functioning, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every device, image, network, or third-party service will work without error. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
We and our licensors retain rights to the App’s software, design, and branding. You may use the App as intended, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Do not interfere with the App, its security, or other users’ devices, or use the App to violate another person’s rights. This section does not limit rights you have under applicable law.
We may update these Terms. The revised date will appear at the top of this page, and we will give additional notice of material changes when required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent allowed by law.
