Linton Roe
Linton is fluent in English and German and regularly uses basic Italian, Indonesian, Chinese, French and Japanese in his teaching demonstrations.

Linton is an expert educator with a passion for leading by example. He has extensive experience in system-wide change management, underpinned by a deep knowledge and experience of working with people at all levels. He is currently the secretary of the MLTAV.
Linton listens, asks questions, suggests, demonstrates and crafts each conversation, whether with students or educational leaders. Knowing that relationships are essential to trust and growth, he explores each person’s potential within the framework of any strategic partnership.
During his twenty-seven years in education, Linton has worked as a teacher, leader, coach, presenter, consultant and sessional academic. He was integrally involved with the renowned Bayswater South Primary School Bilingual program for sixteen years, during which time he filled many leading roles but was especially active in the promotion and development of Content and Languages Integrated Learning (CLIL) approaches and the Victorian Government’s Bilingual Schools Project.
Linton frequently presents at state, national and international conferences. While working with kinders, schools and universities he has facilitated numerous workshops in Languages, Science and Music Education. Linton currently partners with the Victorian Department of Education (DE), the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Schools Leadership, the MLTAV, Independent Schools Victoria and Victorian Catholic schools (CECV) to design and implement in-house professional learning programs for teachers and leadership teams, with an emphasis on connecting student voice with program design.
Linton raised his own children bilingually and has vocational interests and qualifications in languages, science, education, music, and religion. Linton is based in Melbourne, Australia and provides services, advice and partnerships locally, nationally and internationally. Please contact him with any queries.
