INSPIRATION

This project is a wedding dress design for brides. Its purpose is to explore innovative possibilities in utilizing various materials for knitted fabrics, while also focusing on how clothing can accentuate the feminine curves and soft lines of a woman's body. Inspired by the remarkable natural occurrence of whales giving birth during their fall, this design aims to demonstrate that a whale's death need not be viewed as a tragedy. Rather, it serves as a catalyst for new life to emerge from the depths of the sea. Similarly, some may view marriage as the end of love, but the bride is akin to the whale - bidding farewell to the past and embarking on a new journey. The gown is designed to instill the wearer with unwavering self-confidence and belief in her unique allure. Ultimately, the dress also seeks to express the profound significance of female heritage.
