2025-08: Dr. Lin Gong, collaborating with Dr. Xin Chen in the ECE department at TAMU, was awarded a grant by the 2025 PRISE (Panther Research & Innovation for Scholarly Excellence) Grant Program.

2025-08: Dr. Lin Gong was awarded Outstanding Researcher by the Roy G. Perry College of Engineering at Prairie View A&M University.

2025-05: The funding was awarded to Dr. Lin Gong by the PVAMU RISE Faculty Summer Salary Support Program.

2025-04: The graduate student, Mr. Parthiv Debnath, submitted his poster to the 2025 IEEE PES General Meeting, titled "Mobile Edge Computing for Big Data Analytics in PVAMU Smart Grid". It was accepted by the conference.

2025-04: Attended the Kansas Power and Energy Conference (KPEC 2025).

2025-04: Started serving as a faculty senator to represent the College of Engineering in the School Senate at PVAMU.

2025-04: Advised and chaperoned the PVAMU IEEE members to attend the 2025 Texas A&M Semiconductor Summit in TAMU, College Station.

2024-09: Dr. Lin Gong's proposal to the ACCESS for HPC resources was approved, titled “Hands-On Training in High-Performance Computing: Enhancing Graduate Education through Practical HPC Applications”.
