I am an Instructional Technology Specialist with the Office of Digital Pedagogies and Initiatives (DPI) at Penn State. I work with DPI and Digital Liberal Arts to provide expertise and training in research and teaching tools for the benefit of faculty in the College of the Liberal Arts. 

I earned my PhD in Spanish and Language Science in 2022 from Penn State, where my dissertation focused on how learners of Spanish process new verbs while reading. 

I also hold an MA in Spanish (sociolinguistics) from North Carolina State University, and a BA in Psychology and Spanish from Appalachian State University.

Outside of academia, I enjoy outdoor activities, yoga, trivia, and the arts.
