I am the Faculty Development Specialist for Digital Learning at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. 

I earned my PhD in Spanish and Language Science in 2022 from Penn State, where my dissertation focused on how learners of Spanish process new verbs while reading. 

I also hold an MA in Spanish (sociolinguistics) from North Carolina State University, and a BA in Psychology and Spanish from Appalachian State University. 

Outside of academia, I enjoy outdoor activities, yoga, trivia, and the arts.
