People Magazine says that Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams 'Interested' in Making Mean Girls Sequel"!

April 30 was the 20th anniversary of Mean Girls, and today, May 3, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams want to make a sequel with the OG cast.

On January 12 of this year, a musical remake of the original 2004 film was released, in which some of the cast including Lohan went to the premiere, but not satisfied with that, the 2 "protagonists" (Since Regina George (Rachel McAdams) has such a large fan base that for society she is the protagonist) they want to make a sequel with the original actors.

People magazine says that Lohan “wants to do another [Mean Girls] and has a good relationship with her former cast members,” which also includes Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert. “They are her friends and have been. Another film would be great for her and for audiences who loved the original."

McAdams says "would likely do a Mean Girls sequel if everything presented to her made sense," (...) “She has no regrets about not doing a Walmart commercial, which is a different thing," (..) "She is super busy, but likes her former cast members and would be interested in talking about a sequel if it becomes a reality.”
