Lindsay Lohan Shares Updates on Her Upcoming Netflix Film "Our Little Secret"

Lindsay Lohan has been busy with exciting projects, and she recently shared some updates about her upcoming Netflix film, Our Little Secret, which is set to premiere this November, to AOL

Lohan expressed her enthusiasm for Our Little Secret, highlighting its grounded and relatable nature compared to her previous work. "I love this movie because Irish Wish is fantastic and was so much fun to film, and it has a magical aspect to it, where I feel like Our Little Secret is a bit more grounded. I love that because my character goes through a very real-life, kind of romantic struggle where she revisits someone from her past that she had a relationship with prior, and it's kind of a tug-of-war situation where she doesn't know what to do. She's thrown into a family that doesn't really accept her. So, it's that need of wanting acceptance, and is that really the right path for her, and finding herself through the process of it, which I love. I'm really excited for people to see it."

Lohan also shared her positive experience filming in Atlanta. "I had a great time filming it. We filmed in Atlanta. The crew and everyone that was a part of the film was just such a joy to work with. They were just so kind, and it was a really wonderful experience. It was really great. So, I hope that shows in the movie. Everyone there is just...it becomes like a family there. And I feel lucky to have that."

While Lohan is best known for her cozy romantic comedies, she confirmed her interest in exploring different genres. "I definitely want to branch out to other genres, just to stretch my abilities. And, you know, I'd be doing myself a disservice if I didn't try other roles and other characters and look different in films, [or] ensemble cast roles and working with the directors that I dream to work with. That, I really want to do and start focusing on."

Despite her desire to explore new genres, Lohan reassured fans that she will continue to make romantic comedies. "I will never not do romantic comedies, because I know that the people that I've grown up with who watch the movies I make, I want to always continue to have those movies throughout my career. I think it's important to have movies where we can go to the theater, escape, laugh, relate and forget about everything in the outside world for a minute and take a positive message from it when we leave. That's something that's always a part of me, and as an actor, I want to continue to always have that."
