Freaky Friday 2: Shooting date and director has been revealed

The successful 2003 comedy, Freaky Friday, is being prepared for a sequel, and there is already a date for filming and the director of the second part of said film has been confirmed.

"The studio has tapped Nisha Ganatra" said The Hollywood Reporter, who has directed films such as Personal Assistant, Late Night and The Hunters. Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis continue to thrill their fans by posting on their social media. Jamie, has made 3 posts today related to Freaky Friday.

The film will begin shooting with the cast not yet confirmed, in the summer of this year in the city of Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter

The film has had several versions over the years, so this would not be the only one and, surely, the last.

The original, 1977's Freaky Friday with Jodie Foster directed by Gary Nelson for Disney, the 2003 remake with Lindsay Lohan directed by Mark Waters, a Broadway musical in 2016 and in 2018 with Cozi Zuehlsdorff directed by Steve Carr.
