Bio
Lindsay Bryan is a playwright from California's Central Valley. She is currently a Professor of Theatre at Modesto Junior College where she directs in addition to teaching Introduction to Theatre Arts, Fundamentals of Acting, and Script Analysis. Prior to entering the college realm, she taught high school (and was selected High School Teacher of the Year for the county) and expanded the theatre program by reaching into the community. She received her BA in Dramatic Writing and Analysis from Westmont College and her MA in Theatre Production and Design from Southern Oregon University. Coming from secondary education, she understands the need for ensemble-based shows that have expandable casts and gender flexibility.

Lewis Carroll's classic tales come together in this delightful play, comprised of stories from Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. This is a delightful romp with iconic characters such as the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. A prologue including other storybook favorites starts the show as Alice is chased down the rabbit hole by the characters from her books. Flexible cast of 17-28.

She defied Victorian gender norms, self-published her stories, and ended up donating one of the largest gifts to the Lake District in England. Of course, Peter Rabbit and his hijinx are part of the story, too! Roles for 6 males, 4 women, and 5 gender neutral with 7+ puppet or non-speaking roles (doubling possible).
