Artist Statement
I create for self-reflection, to examine and appreciate the aspects that have shaped me.
This work is an introduction to the human form. It is a reflection of my instrument: hands, body, and soul. It is a showcase of the most essential parts that make us human, that make us whole. Presented through graphite, charcoal, and ink, I delicately bring forms through blank space to the visual realm.
