Performance is June 7th at 10:00am
It is important that dancers are prompt, and arrive ready to go on stage. Dancers need to arrive in their first costume, with their hair and makeup done.
What to arrive IN:
Their first costume
Hair done, and stage makeup on (makeup is optional)
What to BRING:
All costumes
All shoes
Water bottle (labeled with their name, please!)
Laundry basket or bin labeled with their name to keep all their costumes and shoes in!!!
Important Notes:
Label everything! This ensures that our volunteers know what items belong to who. Performers must have a tub or laundry basket to keep everything together and to put their costume(s) and shoes in. Please bring all your dance shoes in a dance bag. Label the tub or laundry basket with the dancer’s name. This is extremely helpful to keep their things together during/after changes.
Students must enter through the main double doors of the building; follow the signs to the Dressing Rooms. Performers will be checked in and directed to their waiting area. Please do not leave children until the group volunteer is present and checks in your dancer/tumbler.
Performers will need to stay in the dressing until the end of the show as they perform in finale and seating is reserved. If you need your child before finale due to prior engagements, please let Mrs. Skye Jimenez know so we can arrange this.
Performers MUST be checked out from backstage staff - please don't take them out of the dressing area without signing them out.
Performers must be checked out after Finale by a staff member.
Your dancer may bring a small snack if you feel necessary, but please do not pack messy snacks. We are also asking that all snacks DO NOT CONTAIN PEANUTS. Please only send them with water, and no other liquids!
Students may bring a small activity, or book to keep them occupied while waiting, but please do not bring valuables to any of the performances or rehearsals. We highly discourage dancers from bringing cell phones/tablets to the performances. NO MARKERS.
All students are expected to be on their best behavior at all times. Regular academy rules and policies apply to the rehearsals/performances and if we have repeated problems, students will not be permitted to participate in the show.
ALL students are expected to remain in their dressing room area (even intermediate/advanced students). If your dancer has multiple or quick costume changes, they will be permitted to use one of popup dressing rooms.
