1980s. Atlantic City. It’s the biggest Halloween party in New Jersey, drawing colorful characters from up and down the coast. Everyone who comes is wearing a costume—or are they? During the party, everyone gets trapped in an otherworldly version of the Showboat, and must fight to hold on to their humanity and sense of self, or embrace the transformation and become something monstrous.
Pandaemonium (2018) was a collaborative work between multiple studios for HLG Con 2018. Credit for their original work and permission to use it goes to:

Hello, I'm Tegan. I've taken part in LARP as player, facilitator, and writer for 15+ years. As a writer I've contributed to boffer survival-horror one shots, parlor LARP, and larger theatrical events including Legends of the Stars with LARP Adventure Program, as well as characters for Cyperpunk: Night City and The Night In Question with Jackalope Live Action Studio.
So, why Pandaemonium? In short, I absolutely loved my experience playing in the original run and have wanted to return to the setting ever since. Pandamonium hits a lot of themes that I love to explore, a game that asks characters to explore their identity and who they are once the mask starts to slip.
Of course, what one player takes away from a LARP may be completely different than another. My approach to LARP design is to provide a scaffold for players to climb over and set off their own fireworks. In the case of Pandaemonium, I've been entrusted with someone else's scaffold and I can't wait to see what players do this time.
