# Privacy Policy — Gentle Monster

Gentle Monster is an offline digital wardrobe app: you catalog the garments you own, compose outfits, plan what to wear, and track how often you actually wear things.
## The short version
Gentle Monster does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device, and the app makes no network requests of any kind.
## Information we collect
None. There is no account, no sign-up, no login, and no analytics. We never see anything you type into the app.
## Data stored on your device
All of the following is written to your device's private app storage and never leaves it:
- **Garments** — the names, categories, colors, seasons, materials, tags, notes, and wear counts you record for each item.
- **Outfits** — the garment combinations you save, their names, and any notes.
- **Planner entries** — the outfits or looks you assign to specific dates.
- **Profile and progress** — your display name, style preferences, achievements earned, and lifetime statistics.
- **Settings** — theme, haptics, and other in-app preferences.
- **Onboarding state** — a flag recording that you have seen the intro.
Uninstalling Gentle Monster deletes all of it permanently.
## Permissions
Gentle Monster requests exactly one Android permission:
- **VIBRATE** — used only for short haptic feedback when you tap controls in the app. It can be turned off in Settings.
The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library, or storage permissions. The `INTERNET` permission is declared only in the debug and profile build variants that Flutter's tooling requires for local development; it is **not** present in the released build.
## Network use
Gentle Monster is fully offline. There are no servers, no APIs, no cloud sync, and no background uploads. The app contains no networking code.
If you use the in-app share action, your device's standard share sheet opens and hands the text you chose to whichever app you pick. That transfer is performed by your operating system and the receiving app, not by Gentle Monster, and is governed by their privacy policies.
## Third-party services
None. Gentle Monster integrates no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, attribution, or social SDKs. There are no in-app purchases and no ads.
## Children's privacy
Because Gentle Monster collects and transmits no data whatsoever, it poses no risk to children's privacy under COPPA or GDPR-K. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.
## Your rights and control over your data
Your data lives only on your device, so you control it completely:
- View or edit any entry directly in the app at any time.
- Delete individual garments, outfits, or planner entries from within the app.
- Clear everything at once by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in your device settings.
There is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf, because we hold no copy of your data.
## Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published with a new "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
