What is your pricing like?
My minimum for custom tattoos $100. Pricing for flash (pre-drawn designs) varies, generally starting at about $75.
Sales tax applies for all transactions (about 10%).
A $55 ($50 + 10% sales tax) deposit is required for all appointments, and will go towards the final price of the tattoo. This guarantees that I am paid for the time in the case of no-shows or last minute cancellations.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Necessary items:
A government issued photo ID (not expired)
Cash or Venmo/Cashapp
Clothing that allows easy access to the body part you're wanting to get tattooed (adhesive nipple covers are provided)
Optional/Recommended Items:
Comfy clothes (it's often a bit cold in the shop)
Earbuds/headphones
A book, tablet, handheld gaming console, etc.
Water and limited snack options are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
How do I prepare for a tattoo?
The day before:
Limit use of blood thinning medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen
Avoid alcohol consumption (you do not want to get tattooed hungover)
Stay hydrated
The day of:
Eat a meal or snack within two hours of your appointment (bonus points for protein)

Do not drink alcohol, do recreational drugs, or take any blood-thinning medications
Please do not shave the tattoo spot before your appointment, unless it is a spot that you regularly shave (legs, arms, etc.). I cannot tattoo over razor-burn.
Can I bring a friend to my appointment?
Sure! However, please limit it to only one guest.
There are six artists working in the shop, so spare space is limited.
Can I use numbing cream for my tattoo?
I do not personally offer or recommend topical numbing for tattoos.
Many commercially available numbing creams contain dangerously high levels of lidocaine and other active ingredients that can lead to heart problems, seizures, and breathing difficulties.

Do you do drawing commissions?
Very rarely, on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to reach out and ask, though.
Do you take walk-ins?
No, I tattoo by appointment only.
Do you do piercings?
No, we do not have a piercer at Paper Doll. I recommend Element Piercing in Fayetteville, or Claire at Ember Tattoo in Rogers.
