The crew of the F/V Lily Jean were more than fishermen and mariners. They were fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, partners, friends, and valued members of their communities. We are dedicated to honoring the lives of all those lost aboard the F/V Lily Jean and preserving their stories for future generations.
For the families of Freeman, John, and Sean, remembrance is also accompanied by an ongoing commitment to advocate for the recovery of their loved ones and to seek answers about the circumstances surrounding the loss of the vessel.
While families may have different wishes and perspectives, we share a common goal of honoring those who were lost and ensuring their lives are remembered with dignity, respect, and compassion.
