I am Freeman Short’s girlfriend and the creator of this website.
Freeman and I were looking forward to building our future together and planned to get married after he returned home from his upcoming deployment. Instead, like so many families affected by the loss of the F/V Lily Jean, I have found myself navigating unimaginable grief while searching for answers.
I started this platform to advocate for recovery efforts, share information, and support the ongoing search for answers and closure for the F/V Lily Jean crew.
