Hi! I'm Lillie Hoffart, and I'm a PhD student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the Russo Plant Ecology Lab. I am broadly interested in plant communities, focusing on climate change, disturbance, and invasive and encroaching woody species. I tackle these questions with a combination of ground-based and remote sensing methods. I am also interested in how to better communicate science and engage with the public, as folks interact with plants every day!
Outside of research I enjoy crocheting, table top games, hiking, and hanging out with my pet rabbit, mice, and shrimp.
