The goal of this assignment was to evaluate the social determinants of liver disease in Latino populations across America at each socio-ecological level. In this essay, I analyze different determinants that lead to liver disease and propose interventions to help reduce the prevalence of this disease. While writing this essay, I learned how to use research techniques in order to construct a literature review to evaluate a health problem. This assignment also allowed me to expand my knowledge of the Latino population and the health disparities they face. In the future, I will be able to use the research techniques I learned, and better understand underserved populations across the U.S.

The goal of this assignment was to write a literature review that analyzes Venezuela’s healthcare system. In this essay, I evaluated the healthcare system of Venezuela, their quality of care, accessibility to healthcare, and decentralization efforts that have occurred in their country’s history. I further wrote recommendations in order to address the disparities that the healthcare system in Venezuela faces. In this essay, I used research techniques and Spanish comprehension techniques in order to analyze healthcare policies in Venezuela. In the future, I will be able to use my skills that I developed while writing this assignment to better understand the healthcare system and disparities in different countries.
