Hello. Like you, I am a radiant being whose essence expands beyond the written word and cannot be contained by mere titles and credentials.
I am also a museum professional focused on education and exhibitions. I have worked in art museums, natural history museums, zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens, and I love them all equally. I am a skilled communicator, educator, lecturer, facilitator, researcher, writer, and project manager, always seeking new opportunities to creatively engage with people, objects, history, and frankly, the cosmos.
I am a scholar currently focused on hybrid and liminal creatures in ancient Greek art and mythology, museum taxidermy, and representations of death, myth, and nature in the visual arts. I hold degrees in Art History, Classical Archaeology, and Museum Studies from U.C. Berkeley and the University of Leicester, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in mythological studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I am a museum nerd, and a lover of stones, bones, and all things ancient. I love the tangibility of real objects and real places, and also embrace the ambiguity of the unknown. I hope you may find something of interest in these pages, and that we may connect through our shared passions.
