My research gravitates around the understanding of how visual objects are processed depending on the motor properties of the environment and the observer. My most recent work investigated the evocation of motor properties (i.e., affordances) from the perception of different objects in a scene. I used various techniques at the behavioral (stimulus-response compatibility paradigm) and brain (EEG) levels to unravel how the similarity of affordances and the semantic relations between objects may impact the perceptual processing and selection of an object in the scene.Â
