Western business attire is expected of all delegates.

LIGHTMUN will be a no tech conference. Delegates are expected to put away phones, computers, and tablets (smartwatches exempt) during committee sessions. 

Students should not pre-write directives for Crisis Committees 

Students who are caught using AI will not be considered for awards 

All delegates must act professionally and practice school-appropriate conduct. 

No form of harassment or bullying will be tolerated.

Students in General Assembly Committees and Specialized Assemblies are required to write a position paper and send it to their committee email before first committee session begins

Position Paper Guidelines:

• Must be in Times New Roman, 12-point, single-spaced.

• Citations must be in MLA or APA format for both topics at the end of paper.

• Papers must be professional and written in third-person perspective.

• There must be three sections per topic:

  • Topic Background

  • Country Position

  • Possible Solutions
