As the Secretary-General of LightMUN I, I am honored to invite you to the first iteration of Lightridge High School’s Model United Nations conference on May 17th, 2025! 

With LightMUN I as our debut conference, we hope to make this unique experience one that sets the foundation for the future. Our one-day timeframe is carefully designed to streamline the schedule while allowing delegates ample time for debate and a more cohesive experience. Additionally, we are also proud to introduce our Peacebuilder Award, a special recognition that embodies the true essence of the United Nations, one of cooperation, creativity, and a commitment to peace.

The entire LightMUN secretariat has dedicated considerable time and effort to making this conference a valuable experience for everyone. We hope that each delegate will be able to step outside their comfort zone to create innovative solutions, collaborate with their peers, and most importantly, leave with lasting memories of a fun and engaging experience.
