I find many of my parts and pieces at antique shops, flea markets, and yard sales. They are not new. They have a story. They tell that story in the dents, scratches, and rust that they have earned in their lifetime of use. You don't just paint over an artifact and hide its history. (Though- occasionally... I do just that.)
