This year in Submerged, our max that we've coding to is 365 points on the robot board. We have two robots, named SpongeBot SquarePants and Chicken of the Sea. They are both compact box shapes and are designed to take in drop-in attachments. We also have removable add-on attachments to remove blockage on the robot board. We use medium motors for our attachments, and large motors for movement with wheels. Our attachments have four actions:
Push, pull, and turn
Lift and lower
Collect samples
Drop samples
Chicken of the Sea
This is a duplicate of our first robot. We made this so we could work on more missions at the same time.
Spongebot Squarepants
This was our first robot.
Walrus
This attachment is used to move samples in our first mission group.
Krill
This attachment is used for dropping the krill in the whale's mouth and to move the coral reef.
Starfish
The starfish attachment is used for the left side of the mission map.
Megalodon
This attachment is used for raising the flag and for releasing the trident parts.
Crab
The crab attachment is used for the right side of the mission map.
Sea Snake
This attachment is for changing shipping lanes.
