Present time: Campfire setting

☁ It’s a late Tuesday night and all mascots have gathered around Vuur at the open field of the campsite for the daily campfire stories; Lyn is very excited because today it’s their turn to take the lead and tell about herself. [dinosauron_] 

 To be honest, if you asked her, she’d say that they’ve had a pretty interesting life, while it’s true that they didn’t have the worst childhood she still struggled, while telling others their story, she wanted them to realize that there was always hope for the better. [litcheese] She then went on, telling the campers a horror story making sure to finish it with a cringe joke to lighten the mood which kind of confused the campers but she found it kind of funny. [panappel]  ☁

 ☁ She turned to Atlas to hear his horror story, excited to see what they had come up with, she decided they would brainstorm some better ideas for horror stories later and maybe ask Atlas for ideas as well. [yellow_hat] Before Lyn can ask Atlas about the future horror stories, they get interrupted by Cordelia who is complaining again: "Why does Lyn always get to talk! They’re so annoying!"  [dinosauron_] It came off as a bit rude, yet surely she didn’t mean for it to be hurtful.. Right? (/hj /lh) Of course Cordelia and Lyn were never on the other’s best side but they could both tell their interactions were of importance to Aether. [vikzz_.]  ☁

  ☁  Aether, in an ongoing attempt to build a friendship between Lyn and Cordelia, says: "That’s not true, it’s just Lyn’s turn to introduce and talk about herself, you’ll get your turn next week, so if we could not interrupt and give Lyn a chance to tell us about themselves". [endivory] Honestly Lyn wasn’t mad, she already knew that Cordelia was jealous cause they were obviously cooler, (/lh) instead she started telling her own story : "So this is the story of me, Lyn, and it starts with lightning. Well.. it started with two adults that did adult things but there was actually lightning the day I was born so it still counts! I was actually born on lightning safety day isn’t that crazy?" [litcheese] ☁

 ☁  She talks about the start of her crazy life, sharing how they’re always finding joy in the loud and the fast "Ever since I was little I loved to roller skate, I managed to find a good second hand pair of roller blades and from then on I was always striving to go faster”. [pr3ttybird] “I would skate for hours if I could, but I needed to take care of my siblings lots of the time so I used to play a lot of Roblox to relax instead." [maranaara] The word roblox pricks the ears of Lux, immediately gaining their attention, “We should play roblox some time, just for shit ‘n’ giggles.” [vikzz_.] Lyn truly loved the idea, however there was one issue.. “I'd love to play it with you sometime, but funny enough I'm actually banned from roblox, (don't ask how that happened), so how about when we have time we go to the arcade instead!" [nomf.] The mention of roblox instantly brings a sense of nostalgia to Lyn’s heart. [vikzz_.] ☁

Timeskip to 5 years earlier; Lyn (14) is at home babysitting their siblings (2, 5, 7 and 10), their mom is home late, but Lyn wants to go to a nearby concert.

 ☁ They were sat on the couch in the living room, playing Roblox with her three siblings as the youngest was sleeping on top of her chest. [dinosauron_] She was playing Fashion Famous, the theme was Ms.Universal when someone came out dressed as the universe, "Shit that's so smart", she said in VC, realizing they cussed they immediately said "Wait, fuck I'm sorry! Shit! I did it again", suddenly a pop up told them they were banned. [maranaara] "SERIOUSLY I'M BANNEDDDD UGH'', they may have said this a bit too loud as her youngest sibling had woken up crying due to the noise, "Shi-! Ah wait.. Shhh, it's okayy." ☁

 ☁ Luckily, Lyn was saved by their mother bursting through the door, freeing them from babysitting just in time for the concert she planned to go to! [just_jaiden] They handed their baby sibling to their mom and rushed to the front door to grab her shoes and jacket with multiple pins on it. They waved at their siblings as she left the house and got in her car. [dinosauron_] ☁

☁ Lyn had arrived at the concert on her own and tried to push to the front when all of a sudden she ran right into someone: "Shit omg I'm so sorry are you okay?" She learned his name was Kor and they both pushed to the front together, becoming quick friends. [pr3ttybird] Kor and Lyn then spent the entirety of the Rat Coffin concert together, jumping and screaming until they lost their voices. [endivory] ☁

Quick time skip back to the present; campfire setting.

☁ The sound of Cordelia’s voice interrupts Lyn’s story, “So you really met Kor at a free concert; is that why you’re in a band with him?” Opposed to Lyn’s expectations, Cordelia’s guess is 100% correct: they’re in a band with Kor, Vuur and Aether. Lyn continues with her story.. [vikzz_.] ☁

Time skip back to the past: concert setting

☁ Disappointed that the concert ended, Lyn and Kor started talking about their current interests and lives. [endivory]  "I actually got into playing bass by doing covers of Rat Coffin" Lyn said as she and Kor left the venue, "Dude that's the same way I learnt playing the drums!!" he replied back, "OMGG we should SOO play together some time!" Lyn exclaimed back excited to finally find someone to play with. [just_jaiden] "Do you want to exchange numbers so we can meet up to play sometime", Kor said taking out his phone , "Yeah, definitely" she replied doing the same, exchanging phones they typed in their numbers and returned the phones. [maranaara] ☁

Timeskip back to the present; campfire setting.

 ☁ Lyn can't help but stare at Cordelia after her interruption from earlier this evening, "Why does she always need to act this.. omniscient ?" she asks herself, knowing they have to get along with her for Aether's sake. [dinosauron_]

 In attempt to move on from the interruption earlier, Lyn looks around the campfire and notices Calypso wearing a jacket Lyn has wanted for quite a while, "Hey Calypso where'd you get your jacket I've had my eye on the same one for quite some time" Lyn asks passive aggressively. [endivory] ☁

☁ "Oh my jacket, well you know, i would loveee to tell you but gosh i just can't remember!" Calypso replies with enough sarcasm for Lyn to pick up that they did in fact know where they got it but were too petty to tell her where they bought it. [just_jaiden] "You'll have to tell me if you remember but next time maybe wear it with a different pair of pants" she says in a snarky tone, "Maybe ask for advice next time, I could help you put together an outfit that works at least''. [maranaara] They roll their eyes at Lyn’s comment and they ignore her, but Lyn can't help but make one last comment, "And at least my clothes and make-up look presentable," she huffs. [dinosauron_] Calypso continues ignoring Lyn in order to be the bigger person and because they know Lyn will never have better style or make-up than them, so Lyn moves on and continues sharing about herself. [endivory] ☁

☁ Noticing a spider crawl across their hand a thought instantly entered her head, blurting it out: [vikzz_.] "I absolutely love spiderman!" Lyn exclaims as they begin to roast a marshmallow over Vuur, "especially the Spider-Verse, like have you seen it?? It's a cinematic masterpiece!! And oh-my-God! Spider-Punk, he's obviously my fav he's sooo perf-" just as her marshmallow got a perfect golden color Vuur shot up a flame just large enough to interrupt them and burn her marshmallow to a crisp. [just_jaiden] All the mascot's sat around Vuur gasp in surprise, Lyn just laughs it off because they always cause chaos with Vuur, so it's nothing new, "Ay! You owe me a marshmallow now!" [dinosauron_] ☁

☁ Lyn has always had chaotic but loving friendships with those around her, she especially loves having Kor as a friend because of their mutual obsession with Pokemon GO they especially love to play during camp, Lyn remembers fondly about how they came about joining Elemental Camp. [endivory] ☁

To the past, joining Camp Elemental: beach setting

☁  While they're playing Pokémon GO, they notice that there's an blue gym nearby, "Lets conquer it and make it red!" Lyn says with excitement in her tone.

Kor then notices that there's a bench nearby the gym where they can sit on while they battle, so they both walk to it and they start battling the Pokémon that are defending the gym. [dinosauron_] ☁

☁ "Hey so I know that this is random but I’m in this camp called Elemental, it's a lot of fun and I think you'd enjoy it, sooo.. wanna join??" Kor says as they both battle the gym ; "Absolutely that sounds electric!!" Lyn replies with enthusiasm, Kor continues to tell them about the camp when Lyn exclaims: "OMG WE CONQUERED ITT!!" as she and Kor beat the gym. [just_jaiden] Lyn jumps up in excitement and immediately sits back down "woah dizzy" they say to Kor "I knew I should have brought my cane out today but I didn't wanna scare you away" when given a questioning look from Kor she explains that she has POTS and using a cane or compression helps her function on a day to day basis. [pr3ttybird] ☁

Timeskip to the week 1 challenge

☁ The challenge for this week was just announced and Lyn was very excited to meet and work with another, they noticed someone standing alone and went up to them to see if they might want to work together on this challenge, "Hi, I'm Lyn and I use she/they pronouns," Lyn says extending her hand for a handshake. [endivory]

"Hello! my name is Lux and my pronouns are they/them!!" Lux said while accepting lyns shake, "Omg no way! My last name's Luxtone, that's so similar!" Lyn said, a little shocked by the situation, "There's no way you gotta be joking" Lux replied in disbelief. [just_jaiden] They start joking around almost immediately and grow very close during the challenge, all the other campers notice that they're very chaotic together and nobody is able to keep them a sort of calm when they're being silly. [dinosauron_] ☁

Timeskip back to the present campfire setting

 ☁ Lyn has made so many friends during her time at Camp Elemental and loves them all even if they don't always get along, like Maurice who despite them sometimes clashing always finds a way to make any situation lighthearted and fun!  [endivory] Lyn always enjoys looking back at the countless letters and crocheted animals Aspen has sent them over their time at camp, at this point her bed is half full of all the stuffies he's given them. [just_jaiden] Lyn smiles happily as the sun sets and it's dark outside, she fills the whole evening with talking about her experiences so far during, and before camp: "Thank you all for listening to me today, i cant wait till it's Cordelia's turn next week!" [dinosauron_] ☁
