Tenerife 2016. Interesting structure and texture. Nothing too radical as I've seen this design in many places and smacks of mid 1970's architecture. Centrepoint in London comes to mind. Of course it lends itself superbly to the mono treatment. I feel my eyes virtually curving across the truly 2D image.
Again in Tenerife. A rocky prominence metres up from the Bahai del Duque in Costa Adeje. A fragmented sky above the small example of colonial architectural style of the hotel.
On the costal pathway up to La Caleta you see these rock piles. Never seen them being constructed in real time but there they are, overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean.
New York Subway, Summer 2015. We'd left the Yankees game with 3 innings to go (heck, we'd been there 3 hours already, I think). Saw these 3 guys living a scene impossible or at least unlikely even 15 years ago.
The Shard in Sepia. A truly spectacular building.
Taken on my phone (Oneplus One but post processed elsewhere). That's Sam, David and Jon walking towards the setting sun at Crystal Cove in California in August 2015.
Just some cop at Yankee stadium in August 2015. He doesn't know about this photograph!
Budapest 2015. Shoes along the banks of the Danube.
Somewhere in Las Vegas in 2015.
Shappo, from Belarus.
A klezmer band performing in Budapest. Great performers with barely a word of English between them but, who needs words with the music.
At Universal Studios in LA. The water mist 'fans' were everywhere creating a beautiful diffuse lighting effect.
Actually picture of flowers from a 'Freddies Flowers' delivery in March 2017. Though colourful (see some of the colour shots) thought they'd look interesting in terms of shape, form and tone in mono.
Same flowers as above. If only I could recall exactly which species of plant they were).
Another flower from the garden.
A very moody sky in Marseille. If this ferris wheel in the old port of Marseille has a name then I don't know it. It was a Saturday morning in late March. The rain had stopped but the sky still bore the hallmarks of the earlier torrential rain.
