NOVUM INITIUM – A New Beginning is Lighter Side Movement’s 50th Anniversary Fundraising Concert, a celebration of 50 years of faith, music, friendship, and service. More than a milestone, Novum Initium is an expression of gratitude for the people and communities who have journeyed with LSM through the years and a humble commitment to turn that blessing into something meaningful for others. Through this concert, LSM hopes to raise support for the kabataan, by providing opportunities for education, youth empowerment, spiritual growth, and music and talent development; for our nakatatanda, by extending assistance for daily breakfast, medical and optical care, wellness, and other essential needs; and for our music ministry, through instruments, costumes, and resources that will help sustain its liturgical, cultural, concert, and community work. Novum Initium is not simply a celebration of 50 years, it is a grateful beginning of another chapter, where what we have received becomes something we can share, serve, and give back.
