Light Leadership Academy is a community-based leadership and college readiness program designed to help students in grades 9–12 grow into confident, purpose-driven leaders. Through mentorship, hands-on workshops, career exploration, and real-world learning experiences, students develop important life skills while preparing for college, careers, and future success. LLA focuses on building character, strengthening confidence, and helping young people discover their potential both inside and outside the classroom.

We personally guide students and families through every step of the college preparation process. From college applications and essays to FAFSA, TAP, scholarships, and financial aid forms, we sit down one-on-one with students to ensure they understand the process and successfully complete each important step toward their future.
Light Leadership Academy helps students build the confidence and professional skills needed for future success. Through leadership development, mentorship, resume building, interview preparation, and hands-on job application support, students gain real-world experience that prepares them for college, careers, and leadership opportunities within their schools and communities
We connect students with professionals and leaders from across the region who share their knowledge, experiences, and career expertise. Through guest speakers, workshops, mentorship, and shadowing opportunities, students gain valuable insight from individuals working in business, healthcare, education, finance, public service, and many other career fields.
