• child find and public awareness, 

• community needs assessment, 

• system evaluation for birth to five early intervention systems in NC 

How can LICC’s accomplish this?

FAMILIES

• • •    they use the systems (EI)

    •    they know what works, what doesn’t

    •    they have connections with other families, other resources, other networks

    •    they will bring the “real world” understanding (instead of telling families what they need, families tell us)

    •    they bring new perspectives and new ideas
