Middle school library leaders took the lead on this display. They came up with the idea, curated the books and created decorations for the display.
Inspired by a display in a local bookstore, our upper school library leaders selected some of their favorite books, gift wrapped them and wrote a short teaser about the book on a card attached to the outside
Mrs. Rendina created a Google Form where students can submit 2-3 sentence book reviews, along with 3 words that describe the book. We add these to our Canva template and then print them out on 4x6 cardstock.
Students in library leaders help shelve books in the library during study halls and after school.
Mrs. Rendina trains library leaders who are interested in how to use Follett Destiny to check in and check out books. These students help cover the circulation desk after school and when Mrs. Rendina is out working with classes.
Library Leaders also help tidy the shelves, fronting books and making sure that all the book display stands are full.
