Diana Rendina, MLIS, is the teacher librarian at Tampa Preparatory School, an independent 6-12 school since 2017. Prior to this, she was the media specialist at Stewart Middle Magnet School where she transformed their library and piloted their makerspace program. Diana is passionate about school libraries being places for students to discover, learn, grow, create, connect and collaborate. She is the creator of the blog RenovatedLearning.com.
Diana participates in the International Society for Technology in Education, the American Association of School Librarians and Florida Association for Media in Education. She is the winner of the 2016 ISTE Outstanding Young Educator Award and the 2015 AASL Frances Henne Award for emerging leaders. She co-authored Challenge-Based Learning in the School Library Makerspace, and is the author of Reimagining Library Spaces: Transform Your Space on Any Budget.
