The Julliard Manuscript Collection contains digitized versions of 140 manuscripts, sketches, engravers proofs, and first editions. You can select which composer you wish to view, and they list the letters, pieces, annotations, etc. This collection was received in 2006 by Julliard Board Chairman Bruce Kovner. They list other collections as well as links to Julliard's other libraries and archives. This collection is beneficial for anyone that needs to view a score to do an analysis, or just to see what the originals truly looked like, as well as gaining insight on these composers lives and annotations on their performances. This site can be useful for college and up.

This research guide gives insight on finding music in various formats in the Gilmore Music Library and other music libraries. This guide is also beginner friendly, so anyone new to music or research will find benefit in this. There are tabs for catalog searches, articles, books, dissertations, images, scores, recordings, and related guides. Once you select a tab, instructions are listed on best ways to search. The main page lists top resources in the center, and on the left hand side is a list of music research starting points. The column on the right offers access to get help from the music librarian and ways to contact them. There is a lot to navigate through, but lists many ways to research what you are looking for, as well as suggestions on other resources. This guide is suitable for college and above.

Classic FM is not only a well-known radio station, but also gives background on composers and their music. There are tabs for radio, news, discover music, composers, artists, store, and charity. If you are using this source as a research tool, you will gravitate towards the composers tab. Each composer listed has a biography listed as well as a "Did you know?" at the bottom of the biography, offering a fun fact about the composer. After the biography there is a video to one of their most famous works. Features of each composer are listed as well as other well known works. There are "fast and friendly guides", which are short videos, for most composers. On the right hand side they have whichever composer you select and their latest article, recording, etc. This is a fun source with brief information if you are needing a basic idea on a composer and their works, or if you are looking for the latest recordings. Classical FM began in 1992 and has grown exponentially since then. This source is suitable for high school age and up.

I found these web resources by scouring through LibGuides, recalling websites that I used for research while doing my undergrad in music performance, and from external links listed on the web resources I found. For these resources, I focused more-so on recordings, manuscripts, and basic information on the composers and era. I also did a Google search with keywords such as "classical music era", "classical period", and "classical composers".
