VOLUNTEER AT LEVI'S STADIUM

We have an exciting opportunity for fundraising this upcoming year. We have been approved to work concessions at Levi’s Stadium. Every year Levi’s Stadium partners with local Non-Profit Organizations to operate the concessions at all the large scale, public events held at the stadium. For those of you who were not aware Levi’s is the home of the San Francisco 49ers as well as a host venue for various international music acts, International Soccer matches, and Major League Soccer matches.

By us working the events, we will receive a percentage of the revenue (8-11% dependent on the event and type of concessions) as a donation back to our program. Part of this donation will go directly to your child’s account (Walt Disney World, Fair Share, etc ).

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE. If you would like to volunteer there is a mandatory on-line training that must be completed prior to participation. Volunteers will also be required to obtain a California state approved Responsible Beverage Service certification, which is also done on line. Once a month we will send out an upcoming event list for signups.

A typical day will start approximately 4 hours prior to the event and will require standing and service to the public for the duration of the event. We will be looking for 8 to 12 volunteers for each event (working multiple events is allowed and encouraged). We will be arranging for carpools from Liberty to Levi’s to ensure we all arrive on time.

This is a great opportunity for us to raise money for our program as we continue to grow and has the potential to be a continuous fundraiser if all goes well.

levy TRAINING

All volunteers must complete the following:

Levy's Creating Legends online training (LINK BELOW): All volunteers must complete this training
Signed Acknowledgement Forms: Volunteers must sign and then send the completed forms to their group lead so that they can upload them into your group Smartsheet training tracker
California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Server Certification: This is a state law, not just a Levy policy. Any front-of-house volunteer who handles alcohol is required to have this certification. The RBS Server ID and expiration date must be uploaded to the Smartsheet tracker for each volunteer

For any new NPO volunteers added to your roster after August 9th, these trainings and certifications must be completed before they are authorized to volunteer at any event.

Volunteers who fail to complete these requirements are not authorized to work until everything is finished. I cannot stress enough how critical it is for these requirements to be met. If an incident or infraction occurs during an event and a volunteer has not completed their required training or certification, the organization(s) could face serious consequences. This includes warning notices from Levy or, in the most severe cases, termination of your contract.

ServSafe Training:

2. Click on the link above. Create a profile if you do not already have one.

3. This should be the ServSafe Alcohol Online Course and Primary Exam – 3rd Edition

4. Click on add to cart. This training is $30. There is a coupon code LEVY23 to give you 32% off. This training certification will be valid for 3 years.

When you start the training, you’ll be prompt to start training. This takes some time.
Next screen will prompt to pick state. You’ll pick Other State since California is not listed.
This exam will take about 2 hours to complete.

5. If it doesn’t prompt you right away, click on ServSafe Alcohol and then click on Take Online Course. When finished click on Take Online Exam. You will need the Exam Access Code that was emailed to you.

You will be notified if you have passed or failed immediately after the exam. After 48 hours you will be able to print your certificate at any time you need it by going to Certificates, then View/Print Certificates. Certificates are good for 3 years.

PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THIS SECTION AND REVIEW WITH YOUR GROUPS. WE NEED TO BE SURE EVERYONE IS IN FULL COMPLIANCE WHEN THEY ARRIVE TO CHECK IN ON EVENT DAY.

At no time should any other sports logo hats be worn and especially no other NFL team apparel is to be worn any time at Levi’s Stadium. All locations will have a space marked with “employee belonging” signage, please help us out and be sure that ALL employee belongings are placed in these areas and are not put on any other shelves or prep spaces within the locations.

· Shirts - The Levy approved uniform shirt and hats. If you do not have these available please be sure to wear an all-black non-logo polo or all-black button up long sleeved shirt

· Pants – Black pants (no denim or blue jeans, shorts, leggings/jeggings, spandex, ripped pants, saggy pants, ankle pants, yoga pants, leather pants, joggers, sweatpants are permitted)

· Hats – If you do not have your Levy approved hats then a plain black, non-logo hat is the only acceptable form of headwear to be worn. Hairnets will be provided for those who do not have hats.

· Shoes – Black non-slip shoes

· MASKS – These are optional and not a requirement to be worn

As before we have been approved to wear Liberty Band Shirts. Also black hats with the 49er logo are also ok to wear.
