Please note you can only request scan slots for projects that have all needed approvals (see Start scanning).
License holders are automatically added to the users group for the scan calendar. If someone else handles the planning, you can request access to the scan calendar by sending an e-mail to supportlibc@lumc.nl.
The manual How to add the LIBC scan calendar can be found on the Resource page under the heading Training license holders together with all the other needed documents.
The available scanning blocks are visible in the scan calendar. You can request time within [Z] available or canceled blocks.
Request scanning time by creating a new appointment from your personal calendar of your LUMC account and invite RADI – Research MRI 3 Tesla LIBC (radi_research_mri_3_tesla_libc@lumc.nl) as attendee.
As title write down your trial code between square brackets and the full name of the main researcher.
Write down the number of hours for which you have received ethical approval in the notes. Other comments, e.g. why it would be important for you to scan at that specific day and time, can be recorded in the notes as well.
Requests must meet the lay-out standard using square brackets for them to be considered.
Each scan slot has to be requested as a new, single appointment. A recurring appointment (serie) will not be approved, since each request will be reviewed individually.
Your appointment appears in the scan agenda and automatically receives the status tentative.
The LIBC support team handles your request for scanning time and changes the status to accepted or cancelled. You will receive an automatic Outlook message in your LUMC inbox. So wait for this approval message, before you plan your participants.
You can cancel the requested scanning time yourself by simply cancelling the appointment from you own personal LUMC calendar.
Scan slots have to be cancelled at least 5 business days in advance. As another researcher might still be able to use the slot then, we will make most efficient use of the available scanning time.
