I am a recently widowed mom and Nana, retired middle-school technology teacher, former 4th and 5th grade teacher, amateur watercolor and acrylics artist, writer, and photographer...and now librarian. I also love reading, crafting, rock-hunting, cooking, bird-watching, gardening, cooking, genealogy, astronomy, blogging, and learning new things in my spare time.

I love my family - all of them! My husband Mark was my best friend, cheerleader, and an all around wonderful man; my son Andrew and his wife Susie, my son James his wife Allyssa, my grandson Koda, and granddaughter Ayla .... stepchildren Todd and his wife Wendy, and their four girls; Ava, Riley, Willow, and newborn Magdalene. And, Claire and her husband Mike, and daughters Lillian and baby Nora.
