Hsin-Mei was born in Tainan, Taiwan. She graduated from National Kaohsiung Normal University and major in Fine Arts. After graduation, she came back to Tainan, and worked at National Cheng Kung University as an administractive assistant for several years.

She joined Liao's lab in 2021 in NSYSU. Her responsibilities include supporting professors, managing external communication, executive scheduling and administrative tasks.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and taking part in kinds of volunteer activities.
