Ellen Faye Ann Yabut is a Grade 12 scholar of Philippine Science High School - Western Visayas Campus. She is an HHL intern invited by the National Sun Yat-Sen University under the Science Immersion Program. Ellen is taking up Chemistry elective in senior high school and is planning to pursue Biochemistry for higher education. Currently, her research aims to investigate the potential anti-urolithiatic activity of Pluchea indica. She aspires to dive deeper into the field of organic synthesis as promising alternatives to natural products. 

Outside her academic endeavors, Ellen is a passionate student leader with a heart for community service. She loves journalism, learning new things, and spending wholesome time with family and friends.
