Hi! My name is Charasee Laddika Dayawansa. I was born (1993) and raised in central hills, Sri Lanka and I received my Bachelor of Science honors in Chemistry in 2019 from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. 

My undergradute degree was focused on Antimicrobial Natural Product Chemistry. While hoping to pursue my higher studues abroad, I worked as a full-time teaching assistant at two Sri Lankan Universities, University of Peradeniya and Uva Wellassa University. 

In hoping to gain research experience in synthetic chemistry, I have joined Liao's group fall 2021 as a Master student. 

During my free time I enjoy cooking for family and friends.
