Teody L. Gumabat was born in June 1998 and raised in Iligan City, Philippines. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemistry at Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology. To finish his master’s thesis, he is doing a sandwich program with NSYSU as the host institution. At the beginning of his academic career, he has developed a strong passion for nanomaterials and their numerous applications but as time went by he is now more interested in organic synthesis to further his skillset.

He belongs in the great outdoors but occasionally enjoys watching fun tv shows. He collects exotic teas, prefers espresso over drip, hates mild tasting food, and loves exploring new things.
