Jane Anto Simplica, born in December 2000 in Tamil Nadu, India, earned her Master's in Chemistry from Vellore Institute of Technology in April  2023. Her Master's thesis focused on N-heterocycles' synthesis and antioxidant properties. She then worked as Project Associate -I from July 2023 at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, on a project conversion of  carbon dioxide into hydrocarbon fuels by  hydrocarbon fuels under Dr. Anshu Pandey. 

In April 2024, she joined as a research intern at the Liao Group, she's exploring new projects and enhancing her synthesis skills. Outside work, Jane enjoys soccer, travel, and content creation.
