Amit Sasane was born in November 1989 in Maharatrsra, India. He did his Master's degree (2013) from S.P. College, Pune. Under the guidance of Prof. P. C. Mhaske, he joined as a project assistant (2013 - 2015) in the same college, where he worked on Heterocyclic and medicinal chemistry.
After that, he joined a pharma company in Pune where he worked as a senior research chemist in Sai Life Science ( 2015-2018). Then he moved to Taiwan to pursue his dream. He Joined Prof. Rai-Shung Liu's research group as a PhD student at NTHU, Taiwan. His research was mainly focused on organometallic chemistry, gold catalysis. After PhD (2023) he joined joined Prof. Wen-Thai Li group as a postdoctoral research fellow at NIRCM, Taiwan. In that group he continue his research in gold catalysis. In 2024, he joined Prof. H. H. Liao group as a postdoctoral research fellow.
His hobbies were Photography and Sketching.
