Aira Shayne Paculba was born on November 1998 and raised in Siquijor, Philippines. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology where she developed the interest in organic synthesis which was then the subject of her undergraduate thesis under the advisory of Dr. Evelyn C. Creencia.

Outside the realm of chemistry, she spends her time watching tv shows/films, reading books, and in random burst of creative inspiration, sketching/drawing.
